The development team at Remedy Entertainment is hard at work, preparing their upcoming game Alan Wake. Remedy Entertainment is most famous as the dev. team behind the Max Payne Series, which has now been made into a film starring Markie Mark Wahlberg as Max. Alan Wake is a completely new game that's being billed as a "psychological action thriller".The character of A. Wake is said to be modeled after the Finnish actor Ilkka Villi. It should be released within 2009.

Dead Rising and Lost Planet Sequels

Capcom are hard at work on sequels to their popular games Dead Rising and Lost Planet. The sequels are going to be multi-platform though, to the dismay of Xbox fanboys worldwide. This is not to be confused with the new Wii game which is a seperate Dead Rising game all together, not the sequel. It was more like a port of the original with changes to support the Wii.

Resident Evil 5 Xbox 360 Bundle Coming?

Although it is still just speculation, it is rumoured that Microsoft and Capcom have been working together on a red resident evil 5 special edition Xbox 360. A red system, red controller, a copy of RE5, an exclusive RE5 Dash theme and a code to download Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD. Since my Xbox took a shit, maybe I'll be waiting and getting one of those puppies. Sure beats getting Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda with your Xbox, that's for sure. The bundle should be available around March, but no confirmations have been made yet by either Microsoft or Capcom.

Ubisoft Confirms Splinter Cell Conviction Is Xbox 360 Exclusive

Ubisoft have announced in a quarterly report that the upcoming Splinter Cell game, Conviction, well be exclusive to Xbox 360. It was previously stated that the game would be released on both the PC and the Xbox 360 but development problems at Ubi have changed the plans it seems. Sam Fisher returns as the main character and he is quite a defined character I must say. I have read the Splinter Cell book and the character is brought to a great level, a modern day superhero if you will, its a fantastic read and i definitely recommend it.

The End Has Come For My XBOX!

I think it's done for sure this time. I got the ring of death... again. I got it once about a year ago, and paid a friend of a friend to mod it and fix it. He did and it worked great for about a year... now its dead again. So I started looking up ways to fix it myself on the net and if any of you have ever done this, it's not the easiest task sifting through the shit if you know what I mean. I tried a few different ways with a friend of mine and none of them worked. We tried cleaning off the GPU and CPU with thermal cleaner and reapplying new thermal paste, not the cheap shit Mirosoft used. Heating it up after and letting the solder reapply or whatever thats supposed to do. It didn't work. Tried covering up all the parts in tinfoil and heating up the gpu with a heatgun lol. None of those worked they only got it down to 2 lights in the ring instead of 3. They say that not all of the RROD issues are fixable. I think mine is past is nine lives. If it were a cat I mean.

Well looks like I'll be in the market for a new one in the near future so I can play all the games I have.. Good thing I beat Fable II before it shat. Leave any comments if any of you have experienced RROD or other XBOX issues

The End Is Near For Midway Games

Midway Games are in quite a bit of financial trouble as of late. The Publisher of such games as Mortal Kombat and the upcoming 'The Wheelman' seems to be on a dead end path heading for certain doom. They have reached an agreement to extend their deadline with their creditors until February 12th.

They are in debt around $240 million, but they must pay $150 million in full on that date. Midway have officially stated that this ordeal should not affect the release of 'The Wheelman' for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The Wheelman features Vin Diesel as the star of the game.

No GTA 5 In 2009 Says Rockstar

Rockstar games have announced that no GTA follow up will be available for quite some time. Despite speculation by the online community that Rockstar were already hard at work on the follow up to the newest iteration of the series Grand Theft Auto 4. I have a theory of my own on this one. They only stated that there will be no Grand Theft Auto 5 in 2009, but does that mean there won't be any games like vice city or san andreas, based off of the GTA 4 platform? Only time will tell. Only time will tell...
